Global Internships
Throughout the year, Mercado Global accepts a limited number of interns at both our New Haven and Guatemala offices. These placements provide an opportunity for students to explore the internal operations of a non-profit organization as well as international development issues. Interns select a focus in the following areas: Sales and Marketing, Fundraising and Development, Operations, Social Impact Assessment, and Product Development and Design. College students and recent college graduates who are able to commit to a minimum of a 2-month placement are encouraged to apply for an internship with Mercado Global. However, others who are interested in working with Mercado Global, particularly those with a unique and relevant skill set or a specific project in mind, are encouraged to contact us. Mercado Global interns are encouraged to give a presentation of their experiences and observations to their school or community upon their return.
